Deux Visions de Terre Neuve et Labrador

In 2003, Jean Claude joined noted photographer Ben Hansen in a project to travel the island of Newfoundland and record their artistic impressions of the same locations. The resulting book, with text in French and English, displays the parallel visions of two artist from other countries – Ben was born in Denmark – who have come to see Newfoundland as their home. Deux Visions de Terre Neuve et Labrador est un livre de tableaux de Jean Claude Roy et de photographies du célèbre photographe Ben Hansen, accompagnés de texte en français et anglais. Depuis trente ans, Ben et Jean Claude s’inspirent de la province de Terre Neuve pour créer, chacun dans sa forme d’art. En 2003, ils ont parcouru la province ensemble, fixant leurs impressions sur la pellicule ou la toile. Ce livre est né de ce voyage.
