Situated on a hill overlooking St John\u2019s harbour, this building brings together the province\u2019s art collection, museum exhibits and archives under one roof. As part of the opening ceremony,  Jean Claude was invited to paint the view of St. John\u2019s from The Rooms.  This painting is part of the Art Gallery\u2019s permanent collection, and prints are available from The Rooms giftshop.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"french-nav\">The Rooms, le tout dernier b\u00e2timent public de Terre Neuve, a ouvert ses portes le 29 juin 2005. Cette structure, qui est compos\u00e9e de trois b\u00e2timents relies entre eux, abrite la collection d\u2019art de la province, les archives publiques et le mus\u00e9e provincial.  Situ\u00e9e sur la colline surplombant le port de St Jean, ce b\u00e2timent offre une vue spectaculaire de la ville.
